I just bought a CV a few days ago and have a question about the plunger ball. In some pics on the net, i have noticed that the plunger ball lights up. Like this one on the Hutchins site. The question is : Is this a mod or all of them come with a glowing ball? Im sure it does not light up on mine.

It is an aftermarket mod, not factory.

Mindorbit shooter rod from pinbits:

the midorbit shooter rods are awesome. You should get one for your CV. I have them on 6 of my machines.

Slow colour changing version with tri colour looks best on CV. Here's a short vid of mine:

The light only works when the plunger is in the resting position, once the plunger is pulled back the circuit is broken and the led turns off.

Thanks for the replies.

Any ideas as to which LED kit to order for my CV?
The #1 seems to be colored bulbs and brighter. Do the colored bulbs take away from the game's appearance or add to it?
Thanks in advance.

Not a big fan of LEDs to be honest.

If you are going that route, personally I would just buy the playfield insert kit for the playfield inserts only (and maybe the flashers).

Leave the GI and backbox as bulbs.

Yeah can you share some photos of your chromed out version? I would like to see it.

All the chrome has been mirror polished so reflections from nearby surfaces/objects is unfortunately almost unavoidable when taking close up shots.

I was in two minds about the powdercoated legs, but I think they fit in quite well with the artwork.

My rule is that powdercoating needs to blend, and chrome needs to pop.

Leg bolts would look better in chrome !

Looks really nice. I wonder how chrome legs would look? Very nice example you have there.
