Quoted from f3honda4me:PS vue has great DVR but as of late also really struggled during primetime.
? How so?
Quoted from f3honda4me:Constant buffering during peak times
What device are using to stream? TV/Fire/Roku?
Quoted from f3honda4me:Fire TV box.
I have Fire and Roku and my anecdotal evidence says that Vue runs much smoother via Roku...I like the controls of the Fire better though.
They are all juggling their plans to get the streamers now. I bit the bullet and upgraded internet speed:
PING ms
10
DOWNLOAD Mbps
180.35
UPLOAD Mbps
29.98
Quoted from henrydwh:include local channels.
Unlimited dvr/on demand movies plus haven’t had many connection issues either
Quoted from PinMonk:youtubeTV (we're de-googling ourselves as much as possible now that google is evil),
Quoted from PinMonk:The video quality looks BAAD
I switched to YouTube tv after vue tanked. Video quality is good, less buffering than vue, dvr is great AND they have good “suggestions” for shows since they spy on you!
Quoted from OLDPINGUY:One must have an Antenna,
If you have an antenna, you could use Tablo DVR which also has an app that allows you to stream your content to other devices.
Quoted from OLDPINGUY:I wish I had an app to manage my streaming services.
I subscribe, watch the full season of whatever, cancel, then get it again when I need it...for stuff like cbs all access. Only bummer is avoiding spoilers for shows until the whole season is available
