I'm stuck with cable until I can find a way to get my wife Good Morning America and the ID Discovery channel. Any ideas? She'll want to have DVR capability (of course). I run Kodi boxes w/emby in my house, so it would be best if the service worked with Kodi.

Everything else is downloaded by my server, so I don't need to worry about anything else.

Looks like the Hulu plan would work, but it's $45/month.

~$160/month for Internet and Cable. I think I can get an Internet only plan from Comcast for ~$50/month.

Just keep in mind that an extender cuts the speed in half. So if you have 100Mbps at the router, when connected to the extender you'll only see 50Mbps.

I use newsgroupdirect as my primary unlimited host and then I have block accounts with both Blocknews and Tweaknews. I think newsgroupdirect is $3.75/month, so it's a lot more expensive than newshosting.

I really should use a VPN, but haven't had time to deal with that yet.
