From what I read here on Pinside, the customizing software Pinball Browser does *not* work with JJP code. Is that absolutely true? I PM'd its author Olivier, in France, but I have yet to hear back.
If it is true, is there any way to customize the sounds of a JJP pinball? One would-be customizer wrote that he planned to access the game's hard drive, find the files of interest, and change them. Is an operation like that just a matter of connecting your laptop to your game via a USB cable and then browsing the game's hard drive 'til you find the sounds folder? How are the sounds stored? In what format? Are they, say, WAV files that can be previewed and then edited with any common sound-editing program? Are they encrypted, hidden, protected? I'm not a hacker, so only a somewhat straight-forward workaround would be within my scope.
Thanks!
