Quoted from blue95:Homepin are developing an add-on module especially for this.
I just sent homepin an email, sounds like he built a few prototypes, but they were too expensive to produce.

Quoted from zizzlemeplease:Ebay has little voice-sound recording greeting card modules pretty darn cheap, it might be fairly simple to add as many as you want (supplying them power, adding micro leaf switches behind switches) and feeding their outputs to a small amp (TDA7297 are dirt cheep) and pair of speakers. it'd be external of the game's own electrics, shouldnt hurt anything if done correctly. note about TDA7297: sounds nicer to me after swapping in a pair of 2.2uF as input capacitors and 3300uF supply-buffer cap, decent bass from a $3.00 amp?!
20 bucks in parts and some time spent might make for all kinds of crazy on an EM or solid state machine if someone got creative with the soundbytes
Nope, easier to use this:

Quoted from goalzzz:German guy building a compressed air driven pinball:

Love the toys and the blueprint playfield art, not sure about compressed air. There's one that shows up every year at chicago expo, never seems to be working when I want to try playing it (or it's too loud to run)
If anyone has any custom pinballs that aren't already on the pinballmaker site, please add them:

Or.. I could add it for you .. Feel free to edit

Quoted from Nevus:I have an ideas would like to pursue, but no idea where to begin
Ideas for a retheme of existing donor game? built from scratch? What's your skill level?
Quoted from Nevus:I can take the game apart, but would need help with all of the custom art on the playfield, plastics and cabinet. My idea would work with a game that could make basic sounds, but I really don't enjoy the pre-ramp games that much. Minimal speech and a few custom sounds would be really good for the theme.
So something like the ghostbusters project (take a trashed flash gordon, redo the backglass, cabinet, and playfield art), then add custom sound with an mp3 board:

I would hunt for a machine that works reasonably good but has a very trashed playfield. I've seen a few flash gordons and quite a few space shuttles the last couple years for less than $400. Strip the playfield down to the bare wood, take the top layer parts off, and scan it. If you post about it, I'm sure there's someone willing to help you out with the artwork so you can get an overlay printed.
I would assume the theme you'd want is led-zeppelin?
How did you manage to find 2 trashed cactus jacks? Also I wanna see video of the bruce Springsteen please
Quoted from gameroompinball:Here is a link to the Springsteen machine video.
ha! nice. I assume you're using mp3/wav trigger for custom sound?
Quoted from gameroompinball:my newest re-theme... No Doubt
ha! this is like the 3rd rolling stones re-theme, there isn't going to be any left pretty soon. Nice job, I like me some no doubt.
