#25 9 years ago

I'm thinking of changing my 1967 Touchdown to a TNA Impact pinball machine, but I don't know what size to do everything

#27 9 years ago

Haha wish I lived in America so i could go to events like that

#28 9 years ago

Btw any videos on the Sonic and Starfox pinball machine

#31 9 years ago

Hopefully IPDB will recognise P-Roc and home Re-themed machines because wouldn't it be cool to have something like this recognised by the pinball community, because stuff like this is currently frowned upon by most of the community

#33 9 years ago

Imagine how many machines we could discover from that category

#35 9 years ago

I cant seem to view the Astroboy Pinball Machine

#38 9 years ago

Horseypin I didn't know there was a king kong pinball machine

#40 9 years ago
Quoted from horseypin:

No? I think it was pretty much re-made/themed into a BTTF
ยป YouTube video

sweet, that is a nice looking pinball machine

#47 9 years ago
Quoted from Shoot_Again:

Need a good working flashgordon in Pacific NW.
I have ideas for a retheme and decided to use this game.
Always fun but brutal. Excellent game from this era IMO.

oooh what are you thinking about re-theming it to

#48 9 years ago

Ok I've decided that I will specificly focus on the TNA X-Division for my re-theme

#49 9 years ago

Does anyone have advice on how to re-theme a machine? Any help would be appreciated

#52 9 years ago
Quoted from Betelgeuse:

Unfortunately, I lost my hosting earlier this year. I'm hoping to get the site back up at some point.

you don't happen to have a back up version on a word document somehow

#55 9 years ago

Like what res to do stuff and best way to do it

#56 9 years ago
Quoted from Nelly:

What kind of info are you after? I am in the middle of a retheme right now.

#59 9 years ago
Quoted from PinballOrphanage:

I didn't re=theme, but did modernize

Hi guys, just posting to see if there is any updates to machines featured in this forum?

also an update on mine, I decided to ditch the theme that I was going to do and go with something more focused on one person so that will be announced at a later date

another question, what is the best way to add sound onto an EM machine

#78 9 years ago
Quoted from blue95:

ยป YouTube video
Homepin are developing an add-on module especially for this.

sweet

#80 9 years ago
Quoted from PinballManiac40:

Where is the poll to find out what machines people may want?
Don't forget to add Kingpin...though it never had made it to production.

what?

#83 9 years ago
Quoted from PinballManiac40:

Add a poll to the thread.

for what, what machines people want to see? EG like Harry Potter or Iron Maiden?
this thread was originally made because I wanted to see what machines people had made but if you want a poll, give me some suggestions

#84 9 years ago
Quoted from mikeatsparkys:

My Goonies pin is making progress. Some art was getting printed today actually. Really excited about that.

sweet, post some pics, would be cool to see

#85 9 years ago
Quoted from Mocean:

We will be posting a Buffy game play video in the next few days. I don't think we've publicly shared one yet...
The game will also be at Expo in the P-ROC area.

The Ghostbusters pin used a very clever switch stacking mechanism to play sounds using an MP3 trigger (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/11029). Check his thread and videos on YouTube. Pretty awesome.

cant wait to see it!

I heard through the grapevine that you won a few awards with it

#142 9 years ago
Quoted from mikeatsparkys:

I did, thanks! I didn't realize there were going to be awards at the Free Play Florida show, so that was a pleasant surprise.
- Best Homebrew
- Cool New Title
- Best of Show
Pretty rad. They gave me a new pinball cart for winning Best of Show. Just what I needed.

who doesn't need one

#143 9 years ago

Here is a question to you all, if you were to customize a pinball machine into a video game theme what would you choose?

#145 9 years ago

would you make it like a 25th anniversary edition

#147 9 years ago

I'm thinking of re-theming my Touchdown into a Destiny

#149 9 years ago
Quoted from RyThom:

Castlevania! And not one of those goofy newer ones where you play as a vampire - I'm talkin' Belmonts, whips and Hammer horror monsters!

don't forget that delicious Wall Meat

#152 9 years ago
Quoted from mikeatsparkys:

That would be really cool. Now I may have to change the idea on my next project, haha.

well all you need is a machine from 1986 to retheme

#154 9 years ago

oh so was your HH machine, but LoZ came out 1986

#156 9 years ago
Quoted from NextoPin:

Gears of War.
Minecraft
Castle Crashers
Skyrim (Someone is already doing)
Call of Duty, just because it would be popular, I'm not a fan of the games.
and finally, my personal favorite
Tomb Raider
Edit:
God of War

which tomb raider, which era of Cod?

I'm surprised Stern didn't jump on the Minecraft bandwagon 2 years back

#169 9 years ago
Quoted from fastpinball:

Probably just didn't see how to adapt it to pinball. I am stoked about what I have cooking. It was a promise to my kids that when we got the FAST hardware finished that we could build a Minecraft themed game. Should get a lot accomplished over the Christmas break.
Check out the blocks we made that light with different colors to show the ore progress!

#186 9 years ago

I don't know if this or a good idea, but as someone who spends much time surfing the net, has anyone seen the mini pinball models
8.jpg8.jpg

The idea within my mind is that maybe the people who make the models could make models of the custom pins such as Ghostbusters, The Goonies, Godzilla ect ect.... just an idea that was floating in my mind

#214 9 years ago
Quoted from ALJO:

Yes, I did, Jay said that he would think about, or as he says "chew on it", but that's 2 years ago.

mabey as our small group, put forward a new message to him with ideas and examples

#217 9 years ago
Quoted from ALJO:

Good idea.
I think he'll be quite impressed with what he will see here, there are really impressive pins on this thread.

#254 9 years ago
Quoted from dt3:

Ive got a Tee'd Off that Ive always wanted to do something custom with. Nothing too advanced, basically just redoing the cabinet and playfield with a Caddyshack or Tiger Woods theme.

Tiger Woods (PGA) would be a cool theme, you could easily put it next to a PGA Arcade Machine

#263 9 years ago
Quoted from blue95:

I thought I would add some pictures of our Electric Road Last Lap. We started with a European Electric Road that turned out to be too far gone It was then mated with a Playmatic Last Lap playfield the guys from Pizza N Pinball in Newcastle Australia had. The playfield had a few changes made to it and it was converted to solid state/EM by Kress Electrix (the maker of Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy) repainted, had a Homepin shaker motor added and is now back in action.

Not a total re-theme, my Playball came with a pretty bad re-paint job. So I got it wrapped in the colours of my baseball club.
