Quoted from Boof-Ed:

Ripley’s and or Back to the future would be appreciated.

It's been hard to find many choices for Ripley's. I found some great images I was going to take a whack at compositing in the next day or two. Then I just need to mock that up too. (The attached are printable as they are, but obviously not very compelling...)

Quoted from TheCnyPinGuy:

Anyone create any cards for a Bally Gilligan’s Island ?
Message me if I missed it in this post

Glad to see someone mentioned Gilligan's Island. Its a quirky little machine that I miss for some reason and I rarely ever see any discussion on this site about it. Kona is not happy...

Quoted from Squizz:

Great looking cards, but is there any chance of the Ripleys without the Free play writing>?

Yup. I am planning to edit them on Monday and will update the post.

Quoted from BallyKISS1978:

What do you guys print your instruction cards on??

Don't forget FEDEX/Office. For something like $2/sheet they can print full color on thick stock. NO MINIMUMS! They have a 100# satin cardstock and they also have a new 'water resistant' paper which is very nice for apron cards. You can just upload the PDF or JPG file, then create a $2 order and just go pick it up in an hour or so.

Note: Make sure you try it on 5-cent black and white paper first to make sure the SIZING is correct. It's easy for a printer or image to be scaled if you are not careful. Or better yet, drop down to the FEDEX office store (with USB stick in hand) and have them confirm the print sizing will be correct through trial and error.

Quoted from Nevus:

I love these cards, but also have not ever been able to print any at the correct size.
It’s a bummer, but I just moved on.

When printing these kind of cards, I also struggled with sizing. The cutout in a Stern machine is made for a card which is 75mm x 140mm, or about 3-inches by 5.5-inches. Then there is the issue with printing itself. My inkjet color printers are never perfect in color gradation, and i doubt most people own a color laser printer.

So what I do is grab the card images I want and then I use POWERPOINT to setup an 8-1/2 inch x 11-inch page and I drop the images onto that page, making sure to size the card image to the 3x5.5 size discussed above. Powerpoint has a virtual ruler, so it's easy to pull and stretch whatever image you have to make it exactly 3x5.5 in size. The final step is to allow Powerpoint to SAVE AS JPG, which gives you a 8.5 x 11 inch JPG that has all the cards sized correctly, and I send it over to FEDEX/KINKOs to print in vivid color on the 'waterproof .7' specialty stock for about $2

Sounds complicated, but it's really not. The result is a perfectly printed page of cards (3 fit on a page), that I can pickup at my local KINKOs shop, in about an hour or two, and they have no minimum. I then manually cut the cards from the page, and Viola'. (Even simpler: Ask Mr_Tantrum to do all of this for you and he'll ship it to your house in a few days! It's not very expensive.)

If anyone wants to see a sample of the edittable GOTG page I just created in Powerpoint, let me know and I can share it.

Quoted from ExSquid:

Thanks I’ll give that a shot

And once you have a good printable sheet, sized properly for 8.5 x 11 paper, you can send the PDF to FEDEX OFfice online and for like $2 you can have them print in full continuous color on thicker, synthetic and/or 'waterproof' paper stocks. (your choice). You can send it to them online and FEDEX will have the print ready for you before you can even drive over to pick it up! I do this all the time, and it comes out perfect!

Ok I have a weird request. Has anyone made a cover up for the QR reader for the apron on some newer Stern games? I am looking to cover up my QR reader light for Godzilla and was wondering if anyone has made one for the same reason?(Coindropper QR coverups) Thanks

I just got one from PBL for Godzilla. It is a small rectangle of plastic, printed with a GZ theme, and just fits into the QR cutout. Not sure if she is making additional titles or just GZ. Go to her site :

That looks perfect but I am not relocating my QR reader or taking it out-just want to cover it up
I guess I can try and find a jpeg on google and resize it-but just wanted to see if someone has one they can share?

Check with Mr_Tantrum on creating something like this. He does some amazing work with printed magnetic stuff, good high quality and can help adjust images you find as needed. He did some apron warning coverup badge stuff for me a couple month ago which looks sweet!
