Hello, I'm posting my top 5 current e.m want list(not in any order) I'm also curious of other members E.m want list....

    Sept 2022

    1) 1964 Williams heat wave
    2) 1977 Gottlieb Team One
    3) 1977 gottlieb big hit
    4) 1967 Gottlieb sing along/melody
    5) 1971 Gottlieb 2001/dimension

**** I like to play 1952 Gottlieb queen of hearts, but so hard to find around here

    #2 1 year ago

I'd like to play a '52 Queen of Hearts as well, but they seem to be pretty rare. Steve Young told me that it looks better than it plays, and the art is gorgeous - especially that backglass! For me:

    1) 1978 Gottlieb "Gemini"
    2) 1978 Gottlieb "Strange World"
    3) 1977 Gottlieb "Lucky Hand"
    4) 1976 Gottlieb "Volley"
    5) 1977 Williams "Wild Card"

Of course, that's as of today...

    #3 1 year ago

    4. 1976 Captain Fantastic and The Brown Dirt Cowboy
    5. ?

    #4 1 year ago

Wow, you want Bank a Ball AND Flipper Pool! You must like that pf. I have a Flipper Pool - I like it way more than I thought I would - thought I'd miss drop targets. And it's always a challenge.

    4) 1976 Gottlieb "Volley"

Of course, that's as of today...

I own 2 on your list and feel lucky to have them and I just missed out on a beautiful Volley on local Craigslist for $500 last fall.

I’m out of room but if I had a top 5 it would be:
    1. 76 Black Jack EM (maybe impossible)
    2. Abra ca Dabra
    3. Surf Champ
    4. Triple Strike
    5. Spin Out

    #9 1 year ago

    Which 2 #sea_wolf?

    #10 1 year ago

You mentioned you own 2 pinballs on my 5 wanted list? Curious which 2 they are?

    #11 1 year ago

l'd like and of these, GTB Subway, GTB Ace High and a Bally Delta Queen, ( l accidently walked straight through a plate glass door which was closed, watching someone else playing a good game on the delta).

    #12 1 year ago

Sea_Wolf - I know, I've seen pictures of your game room! I have a sister in Louisville - maybe I should schedule a visit!

    #13 1 year ago

    Me wantee:
    Bally skill roll
    Gottlieb College Queens
    Gottlieb TKO
    Williams Jungle
    Bally Rockmakers

Of course I just bought a Godzilla and a Ringer, so I shouldn't be buying more games but.....

I have met a surprising number of very vocal Roclmakers fans. That game just seduced people into the zipperflipper lifestyle.

    #15 1 year ago

    Gottlieb El Durado
    Gottlieb Rocketship
Bally Delta Queen (college nostalgia machine)
    Bally Wizard
    Gottlieb Kings and Queens

    #16 1 year ago

Just looked at the playfield for Rocket Ship - that looks like fun - 4 flippers and 2 gobble holes to avoid.

There was a Queen of Hearts at Pintastic, I can honestly state the funnest wood rail I have played so far.

I'd love to play one sometime, but have never seen one in the wild. I know that was Wayne Neyen's favorite machine from a design standpoint....I read he went into a slight funk after Queen of Hearts was produced because he couldn't get the circuits out of his head, he liked them so much.

Never even played one! I'm a Rockmaker by trade so it seemed appropriate for my shop. I've had 3 of them slip through my hands, someday one will stick.

I really like the Rocketship backglass. Looks great lit up. Wish I had my old game back.

    #21 1 year ago

I do love some of those old woodrail backglasses with all the scores printed on them. I've only played one woodrail in person - '57 Gottlieb Silver. It's slow, but fun. Love the sounds...those bells. That one has a beautiful bg too.

I like your style man! Don't see to may Caille games come up, pricey when they do.
Good luck finding some of those titles, post pics of them if you do!

pinhead, I LOVE your Wizards! I almost put that on my list.

    #29 1 year ago

    GTB Snow Derby/Snow Queen
    Sonic Prospector
    Williams Doodle Bug/Dipsy Doodle
    GTB Melody
    GTB Strange World

EMs are a wild bunch, but tournament pinball on a well-playing EM is great.

    #30 1 year ago

I forgot about Snow Derby - that's a fun game!

    #31 1 year ago

None because I have no room. But theoretically...

    1. Skyway
    2. Mystic Marvel (was just offered this last week and hate that I couldn't do it right now!)
    3. Sea Wolf
    4. Star-Jet
    5. Heat Wave

    #33 1 year ago

King of Diamonds (or one of the variants)

    Atlantis
    El Dorado
    Flipper Cowboy

What's not to like? - Abra-ca-dabra playfield as an add-a-ball. And that beautiful new playfield!

My other minor success/retheme story... I rewired 2 Bally NightRiders and made them Evel Knievels. Waiting on CPR to rerun the EK pf and I'll start on a third. Only about 150 hours of tedious lead by lead rewire...

Surprised nobody has EK on their wish list?

    1. Gottlieb Jacks Open
    2. Williams Gusher
    3. Gottlieb Majorettes
    4. Gottlieb Cyclone
    5. Williams Apollo with a near-perfect backglass

No problem, right? Easy to find...

Oh yeah, and since I'm dreaming, I'll also take a Gottlieb Knock Out or a Gottlieb Sweet Add-A-Line!

    #37 1 year ago

pinhead - have your figured out your hourly rate on those EK's? *laugh*

    #38 1 year ago

With all these "wizard" conversions, I need to locate Team One pretty soon! I actually like the Team One theme believe it or not. Theres a soccer player in the backglass that looks exactly like Jay Leno, lol. So it's a keeper. No wizard for me. I might be visiting York show in October, hopefully a team One will be in attendance

@pinhead52, thanks big guy !!! I'm curious if any of the original TeamOne playfields that you are pretty much stock piling now are in fantastic condition 9/10+++. ? I just figured with teamOne being made at the end of the e.m cycle and the soccer theme that wasn't popular just yet in the U.S.A in the 70s . If teamOne was a big bust for vendors and they got alot less playtime then centigrade 37? Therefor better playfields?

    #41 1 year ago

    Old Chicago
    Jacks Open
    Surfers
    Wizard
    King of Diamonds

    #42 1 year ago

Gemini is the only one that I really crave

I have the Team One you want. But it’s not cheap.

    (3) 1962 Williams King Pin
    (4) 1950 Gottlieb Knock Out
    (5) 1976 Gottlieb Ship Ahoy
All must be in extremely nice condition, both cosmetically and mechanically.

    #45 1 year ago

@judoratt. That TeamOne looks Brand new, I'm assuming reproduction backglass?

    #46 1 year ago

DB62 - I have access to a Slick Chick at an arcade near here - that's a great game. One of my favorites in the whole arcade! I see them for sale every so often, usually for between 1K and 1.5K.

    In fact, here's one: https://pinside.com/pinball/market/classifieds/ad/141327

It was a mixed bag. I had a couple of really nice ones and have sold those. I just noticed the next one Im to tear into has a very nice pf. Most of the backglasses were toast but again there were a couple of nice ones. Certainly Ive passed them along to game owners to fresh up their games.

I would usually prefer the add-a-ball but, in this case I would take the Bank a Ball. The reason is that this is the first pin I played as a kid. A lot of fond memories and nostalgic tied to this pin.
