Awesome project! You don't see many EM-style homebrews but this is the perfect theme for that.

Thanks for having us Scott! Very well done and great woodworking!

Let me know how the additions work after you 3D print the parts! Talk soon!

I kind of liked how it smelled with the transformer but the MeanWell swap makes sense!

Did the flippers become a lot more powerful after the PSU swap? At EM speeds the exposed pop isn't a super big deal but you will likely get that feedback a lot. (that it shouldn't be exposed to a direct shot)

Indeed. The pops thing is a modern design rule, doesn't apply as much to EM style.

I like the single star post in front of the pop though.

You could make a clear cup (like Kugler's Chrismas) and put a vanishing post under it.

Then use that to "roll" King Dice's head.

Helping Scott with new PF today! Remember folks to always drink while using machinery!

Thanks for teaching me so many interesting facts about wood! Good luck with the next steps!

Glad it worked out! And thanks for the beer!

    I did a 0.01 offset, which makes a 1.0" circle 1.02" total.

Which board are you direct printing to?

If the shellaced one, will it receive ink properly?

    #302 2 years ago

I did. Game was hard as balls but was SO satisfying when you finally beat a boss.

Ahem. "It's the Dark Souls of Disney!"

Scott! The replacement wood handle you made for the 60s vintage sewing kit I found at Goodwill fit great! Thanks again!

Are you aiming to have both printed and use whichever comes out best?

Latex print? How did you create these graphics?

    #329 2 years ago

Hey Scott I know a material science nerd if you need help with the bonding. He lives on same side of Madison as me.

You're doing this by hand now?

    Awesome!

Are you making 2 machines or did you make 2 PF's so you could use whichever turns out best?

    Nice!
