I have replaced the transformer. There is still a loud hum.

Does anyone have an idea ?

Thanks

What exactly is humming?

The transformer? The speakers? The DMD? Something else?

Hi,

The transformer. When putting my ear next to the speakers no special hum is heard.

Thanks

How loud is it actually humming? Can you hear it while the game is closed up?

Is the game's voltage settings correct for your wall outlets?

I can hear it when the pin is ready to play.

It comes from Austria there might be a 10vac difference (220 set - 230 from the wall)

Strangely enough I've had success with giving humming transformers a couple wacks with a rubber mallet.

I’ve done this on Family Guy with great success.

Strange, knowing that transfo is new

Actually, I remove the outgoing wiring harness. And the noise was still there.

I noticed then that Stern connects only 2 transformer fastening brackets to the ground braid. I extended the braid to the 2 other brackets and the noise was significantly reduced.

Thanks for your help !!
