Joining the club.
Just picked up a this treasure today. A friend of mine bought that baby NIB!!! 4 months ago. Just new and shiny and not a single scratch on it. He made about 50 plays and didn't like it at all so we made a trade. He got my Star Trek Pro and I got his CSI plus some cash. First thing I did today when I brought it home was installing all LED's. But man that thing has A LOT of lights.
I am totally happy with this trade. The game is really something else. I absolutely love it.

I have a annoying issue with my CSI.
When a ball is released into the plunger lane it bounces off the wood rail and goes straight back into the ball through assembly.
It does that every 3rd or 4th ball and it is quite annoying during multiballs.
I tried higher levels and lower levels and now I have the game perfectly leveled and the coil is the correct one. I checked that in the manual.
Has anyone had the same problem and does anyone know how to solve this?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Quoted from OLDPINGUY:

A quick and easy solution may be a small self stick dot, or square of thin felt,
or in black, the receiving side from a velcro self stick.
or add a metal bounce plate

I put on a piece of felt and it reduced the bounce back. Now it's only 1 out of 30 maybe. Thanks for your help. I am going to experiment a little more with different thickness. Maybe so I can reduce it to 0.
