Quoted from Concretehardt:

OK so what news did I miss today seems like stuff weak this afternoon I’m watching link may pick up a bit more.

Not sure if it’s already been said, but a certain ex president said Bitcoin is a scam today also.

Quoted from Reality_Studio:

Back around 1997 when Ultima Online came out (a game that let you play online adventures with others (and yes I was addicted to it)) the game among other things allowed you to buy a lot and design your own home. Over time the prized lots were gone and sure enough a market place developed where people were buying and selling virtual Ultima Online homes on eBay. Not for $100k mind you but they sold for hundreds and in some cases thousands.

I spent a good amount of time doing exactly this from 1999 - 2001. Everybody was saying all the house spots were taken, but I realized I could use multiple accounts and walk around multiple servers comparing housing locations. I placed and sold a boatload of houses on several shards for pretty good money. My home shard was Lake Superior.

Quoted from Reality_Studio:

I lived in Austin a the time just up the road from Origin and I was in the game at launch, had a little home near Vesper. I think I was on the same server as you although I can't remember for sure.

I didn't get started until around the beginning of 1999. Senior year of college and a classmate got me into it.

Between my main account and my wife's account we eventually owned 10 small houses along the mountains west of vesper. We had like 6 in a row right at the entrance to the mining area, plus a few other ones nearby.

For a while I was buying peoples accounts on ebay and splitting them up, reselling the houses, gold, items, etc. Then reselling the stripped down accounts too. I never owned a castle or keep, but I had some of the next smaller sized houses briefly from those accounts.
