Since you all are brilliant with these sort of things, I am going to add flashers to the CFTBL pop bumpers, and I want your advice on the best way to do it. After looking at a few different plans, I think I want to tie directly to the coils to fire the flasher, but I don't know which design makes the most sense.

This is the pinbits kit that I could buy, but it looks pretty complicated.

Thanks, that's the way I was leaning. I assume the 680 ohm resistor would work for a standard 555 led.

Decided to go with the GI lit bumper. It is a dark enough area, that the extra light looks good and was a much easier mod.
