i just got this problem while playing, all the flasher lights stay on, doesn't matter what. i quickly turned off the machine because i didn't want it to burn over.

I think it is a transistor but wanted to get opinion from my friends here on pin side, knowing what transistor to check and so on

I would pull the driver board and test the components. That's where all the transistors that control the lamps and flashers are.

You can download the full operations manual here
It has the flasher table and other info you need.

Did the display go wonky at the same time?

Try reseating all the gray ribbon cables in the head, especially the little short one from driver to WPC.

No, the display did not go wonky at the same time.
