Hey everyone. First time posting here so I hope this is the right forum. I just picked up my first real pinball machine, High Roller Casino. A lot of people have mentioned that HRC doesn't really have that great of a cabinet design at all. Almost a hurried, get it done quickly look, and the original Stern artist didn't seem to give the cabinet enough of a wow factor. I would like to create, not re-create, something more spectacular. Would doing this decrease the value of the machine, being that it would be completely different than the original art? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.

Vinyl wrap it so it can be switched back if someone wanted to restore it to original. If you sell.

Value wise I think it depends on it's current condition
Is it completely mint then leave it.
Is it a routed game with scratch, marks, .. you can only improve it. If you can really do a good job you can only improve it.
Only if your new decals are really bad it will make the game worth less.

I had a wpt which I also considered re decalling. Cabinet had deep scratches but playfield was good. Now sold it, but had I kept it and redecalled then I would also have made new artwork for it.
