I was just wondering if any other Williams / BAlly games have crazy bob in them.
NBA Fastbreak
Johnny Mnemonic
JunkYard

Are there any others? I as also wondering if it was used in the Johnny Mnemonic movie first, or was it used by Williams and incorperated into the movie.

I noticed that Mousin Around has the same character as Junkyard, however I don't think he is referenced as crazy bob in Mousin. Williams/Bally just used the same artwort.
Anyone have any info.

Initially, I believe Crazy Bob was going to make an appearance in Champion Pub as well. He is listed in the attract mode for included voices (voiced by Williams' sound genius Jon Hey), but as far as I know, I don't remember hearing or seeing the character mentioned otherwise.

Crazy Bob and the "Move your Car" guy are two fun characters that got alot of use by the design teams.

Apparently, Crazy Bob is the Wilhelm of pinball.

Did you search specifically for this thread!?

That's got to be the oldest thread resurrection on Pinside. Having said that I'm curious about crazy bobs history in pinball. Funny Dialed In didn't even exist when this thread started.

2 weeks gone, time to say more :

its in MARS KNEADS WOMEN, the "give me your melons" video : the name of the store (we can only read half down of the letters) is CRAZY BOB'S software shop...

PS : also note the corn... not sure if "eddy" + "diner" is also an easter egg !?
PS 2 : still on MARS KNEADS WOMEN, the "news" video : the name guy is also BOB (as the woman call him at the end)... but no CRAZY here

What makes you believe that the guy on Mousin Around is Crazy Bob? His name is not mentioned anywhere that I know of.

When the glove is broken on Johnny Mnemonic, you get the awards from Crazy Bob by shooting the scoop. I think.

Let's revive this zombie one more time!

On George's old concept of an Armed and Dangerous game that recently made the rounds through podcasts and blogs, there is Crazy Bob's Tank repair.

In my imagination this Bob was a beloved but slightly weird janitor at WMS at the time. You know, the Futurama Scruffy kind. Or maybe their IT support guy who collected all kinds of junk.

So, anyone here who knows someone who knows someone from the old days care to elaborate?
