I wonder if these faces are deliberately distorted to prevent deepfakes etc which has been a known issue and can easily be reproduced via AI. Plus it’s free you get what you pay for.

Under FAQ on the website:
“ Why are faces so weird?
It's a limitation of our current image encoder. We are working on developing a better solution”
Quoted from Luckydogg420:I thought I’d try an easy thing for the AI to draw.
I tried beelzeboob . Apparently the boob doesn't have anything to do with intelligence.

Yeah I've been reading a bit on this technology. There are other more powerful application out there still in development (like Mid Journey) that are pretty insane.
I saw an image the other day on my Instagram feed of Bill Cosby's melted head on a platter. At first glance, I thought an artist made a pretty effed up looking wax head. But now I realize it wasn't real at all. Pretty soon in the very near future, you truly won't be able to trust what you see & hear anymore. Your mind just won't see able to distinguish what's real or fake. Crazy places society is headed, that's for sure.
Until then I'll be laughing at these horrible mangled faces. haha
