The fake ads are funny, but as others say its not helping him out deal with some crazy guy over $225 bucks.

I did do a reverse look up on the guy to determine if some of the scam conspiracy theories are correct - couldn't find out any relationship status besides a Brandy, I would contact the ex Wife and get her side of the story probably if I felt like this was really done as a slap in the face to the guy.

If the ex was way out of line I would probably feel bad and side with the guy and his game would make its way back. But not under the threatening conditions of cops, lawyers etc that he proposed and you needing to get your money from the ex, thats where this guy is either a scammer or just crazy - tough scam to pull without knowing if you really got the manual an schematics however.

So if he was willing to make the effort to pay you above and beyond for your troubles etc. I would consider, if not he can go pound sand.
