To anyone that might care, I contacted the seller and was told the current offer he has is $2,100 cash and "duct tape test with wd40 worked without a problem."

But seller was unsure of functionality after storage.

That price if too rich for me with the possible unknowns.

Pinphila, I would agree. Many sellers talk about the high offer they have "received". I always tell them it is a great offer and they should take it right now.

I often hear back from the sellers after a week when that buyers never comes through.

I would enjoy having the pin, but the seller seems to be getting enough action on it right now that the price I would want to pay for an unknown condition pin will not tempt him.

I hope someone close to the pin will drive and take a look. I am always surprised how low many of these sellers will go. I have dealt with a few that say "I was just asking that price to see if anyone would take it." Then they take 20% of what the pin was list at because they know the ebay price they listed it for was crazy high.
