After alot of feedback, Game is now priced properly. Firm

Final Price CQ Sample- (Prototype Ringmaster) Cirqus Voltaire #188 $7795.00
Great Price on a Sample CV

Greetings Pinball Fans!

Title says it all. HUO for the past 14 years
The Last Prototype CV ( which included red boards)was posted on Pinside by GAP for $12,500

CQ Sample-( With Prototype Ringmaster) Cirqus Voltaire #188 of 199(?) is for sale to a good home.
2 weeks ago, the game was taken apart and cleaned head to toe. LED's have been added throughout the entire game.
There are a few cabinet flaws which i will point out to serious buyers.
I can easily Pack and Pallet but prefer a local buyer if possible. ( recent refererence available from last out of state sale)
Only looking for a WOZLE as a partial trade plus your cash at this time.
Thanks for your interest

View the actual differences by clicking on the hotspots on the image above. Description of the numbers listed on the image are listed below

1.Misprint on Instruction Card2.Changed "CRANK" marvel to "SPIN", also "Defeat all RINGMASTERS" in sample version is a decal, as opposed to printed on playfield.3.Changed "Acrobat" and "Juggler" playfield lamp inserts to "Acrobat Ready" and "Juggler Ready". These inserts where also changed from yellow to white.4.Added into the production version the words "Bally Hoo" in front of the yellow targets as well as changed "Tickle The" to "Defeat The" in front of the Ringmaster.5.Small Ringmaster heads were changed from decals in the sample version to being printed on the playfield. The word Multiball is printed in black underneath each of the RingMaster Marvels.6.The most obvious of them all. The Ringmaster was changed before production from a normal shaped head to a more cylinderical fat head to help prevent the ball from getting stuck behind him.7.Added the letters S-P-I-N to the 4 blue lamp inserts in front of the spinner.

That's a sample, not a prototype game since you don't have red boards underneath that would mark this as a prototype.

There were ~200 sample games made, give or take, that have those different playfields.

Good luck on the sale.

The game I had listed was a Prototype, with red boards, different playfield etc. That game sold for $10,000. Your game is a sample.

Yes, putting prototype in this listing is a bit misleading, whether you intended it to be or not. This is a sample game. 2 different things!

I saw this game last night personally, and I must say it is Purdy ! I was aloud to look at it , but not aloud to play it . The game is beautiful , the playfield was perfect and the colors just popped. The dmd looked new and crisp, cabinet looked great...etc All of fullblowns games are are very well maintained and I would have no hesitance to buy from him .....bump for a great seller...

It's not collector quality with that kind of shooter lane wear either.

Sorry to disappoint your trolling...There is no shooter wear, just a bad pic and dirt.

Ill post a better pic if requested for a serious buyer

#19 9 years ago

I agree with Rob you may want to re post shooter lane cleaned up then? All other pics do point towards CQ

Is this necessary? What is the end result you are looking for?

If this were bullshit, would if make sense for me to prefer a local sale?

The end result that I'm looking for? I don't know. How about the truth?

I gave an opinion of the shooter lane having wear, and you called me a troll and said there is *no* shooter lane wear. I call bullshit. That pic clearly shows shooter lane wear.

It's not a big deal overall, but it is one thing that will be considered in terms of the overall condition of this (way overpriced) pin.

I agree with Rob about the shooter lane

Your CV is nice though I'm sure lots of people would be stoked to own it, price is high for what it is IMO.

I agree with both of you..., nicks on cab and wear around ring master doesn't make for a CQ title. Sorry op but "almost mint" would be a better description. HEP has redefined what CQ really is and here's to free bump.

Here are the requested pics of the cleaned shooter lane, as depicted in pic #1.
Machine has stainless trim and Green Neon

As My profile says , i have 2 CV's, and to avoid any issues with bait and switch
Pic#2 shows my 2nd CV, shown in Purple trim and Red Neon

I Actually think There is an imperfection in the wood ( with the tree Ringing)
The groove is smooth but is slightly flawed in the graining.

It's definitely nothing major by a long shot. It's a beautiful pin overall for sure. I do think your price is high, and I partially base that on the HUO version that I both bought and sold in the $8k range in the last 8 months.

I do love CV, and it's not a title that is likely to be remade. Then again, if they start selling at your asking price they might!

I actually did not apply new Cab decals for reason. With this being A sample game, i didnt want to cover up the serial # on the front of the pin.. I know some collectors value this, so I left the cabinet as is to give them that option.
As for the ringmaster, if anyone has leads on 2 Ringmaster protectors i would love to buy them from you

I have bought several games from them.. Always a great experience with Mike
They are also the only ones with WOZLE in stock

I am still waiting on a standard WOZ preorder ( not from them), from 9/2013

So 8995 now? Just my suggestion... You may need to shed another 1500 to get some interest. I own a sample Cv as well.

I'm really not trying to be an ass here, so please take this as constructive advice...

You've had this on here for a week, and bumped it every day. It will sell, but if you haven't seen the interest you're hoping for in a week, you either need to have more patience or drop the price. If you want it to sell quickly, you need to take another big chunk off of the price. If you are in no rush to sell, drop the daily bumps as it looks like you're desperate.

I still think you may need to cut the price, but also bear in mind sales of expensive games are tough. New JJ games, new MMRs....there are lots of things fighting for money these days!

Perfectly stated!!! We're starting to see this with new Stern pins now. I've seen a STLE for sale now for weeks with no bites!
