Quoted from Orbian:

Do the bevels really matter? I would think most people use the Cliffy protectors making this a mute point.

If it did not matter why did they bother to bevel it at the factory?
Yes it matters. The shot is tighter without the bevel. Also more likely to wear.

Quoted from lordloss:

Mine came in really nice. one insert had very slight ghosting, but otherwise good.

Was that on the Mirco or the CPR with the slight ghosting?

See it. Thanks for the picture. That actually looks a little more like a slight registration anomaly than ghosting.
On one side there is a slight lack of overlap on the lower it is screened more towards the opposite corner and less where the insert is glued in so not covering as well in the bordering.
I think the lines are like 1/16th so it is possible that it is a 1/16th off center on that insert.
Not trying to hype or critique either product just letting you know what I think I see there.
If all else is good though looks nice. I have seen much worse on NOS.
We went from zero to one hundred on TAF playfields with these two choices

Building my first CPR TAF as I type and I am very happy with it overall. The fit and finish are good and the only thing I would be on the lookout for are the exact same things you have to be on the lookout for with factory playfields.
Those things would be a few post holes that are slightly too small and double checking the dimples as you go.
Again these are things that are common on all replacement playfields both factory and reproduction.
Hopefully I can put a whole album up for it shortly.

Almost finished.
This will be as straightforward a TAF restoration as I have done in years.
No mods just LEDs.
The CPR playfield has been easy to work with overall. Everything has lined up pretty well. There are a few extra steps but again it is not unexpected.
Look forward to playing it tomorrow and getting a better sense of how everything lined up shot and flow wise.
