I just received a set of PHARAOH plastics from CPR. When I started installing them it became really obvious that the upper left playfield plastic is missing a lot of detail and obviously was a manufacturing defect. Has anyone else noticed this with their plastics? Did CPR address this issue before and reissue this plastic? I’m going to be using the original plastic for now and will attempt to flatten it using a heat gun. Anyone else run into this problem?? See the picture. Left is the repro and the right is the original.

Quoted from ForceFlow:

Did you contact CPR about the issue?

Not yet. I just got them today and noticed the problem while installing them. I was hoping to get confirmation from anyone else that bought these plastics whether or not theirs looks like this.

Original on the bottom. Repro on the top.

Kevin,

Thanks for your phone call this morning. I'm excited to have my plastic used to update the current Pharaoh plastic set. I was really surprised when I saw this plastic in the set. My first thought was that maybe it was a second that had made it past the QC folks and ended up in my package. This is the only reason why I came here to ask the community if everyone else's plastic looked this way. So far, no one has really confirmed that their plastics are the same. Today, I sent out the best of the two examples of that plastic directly to Stu along with the complete reproduction set. He should have it in a day or two.

I applaud you, Stu and CPR for your attention to detail and your passion to make your product as accurate as possible. I look forward to buying more of your fine products! Thanks again for helping me and the community out with this situation.

Regards!
