oh its definitely good looking. The art looks great and the colors look awesome. I can't comment on how exactly it was replicated to the original as my original playfield is completely trashed. I'm very happy with mine, gathering the last few parts to get it put together.

I'm not super surprised by that. First time anyone has made a repro of this playfield (at least to my knowledge, and excluding crappy overlays). I'm just glad to see another run so we can get more of these games back up and running. Nearly every Space Invaders I've ever seen has a blown out playfield and trashed cabinet.

Got on the list for the next run. Was told sometime this year within the next few months. Getting Paragon this Saturday. Playfield in nice shape for its age. But going to do a full restoration at some point.

I'm on the fence as to whether I should also do a cab refinish in the process, or just the playfield swap this year and then a cab refinish next year

Since the playfield will be out, I would just do the cabinet and be done with it. I have done three restorations and took my time, you can get it sanded and painted in a week to two depending on your schedule.
Once CPR does another run on Paragon that’s what I am planning on doing. Once a new playfield is in it will make the cabinet look even worse IMO and you will most likely want to paint it. I know I would.
