After tomorrow I'll try and catch up on cleaning games and mop the floor.
Funny thing is, when there aren't many people around, I don't feel like doing anything. I get more accomplished when I'm busy.
So the next week and a half will be interesting.
LTG : )
Working on ramps. Formed ramps tonight for Hook, Strange Science, Transporter and WABAC for Rocky and Bullwinkle. Trying to get caught up on orders after dealing with 2 houses in my mother's estate. With a backorder of ramps and a new heater just waiting to get built, I have plenty to do while under house arrest!
I upgraded from Harbor Freight basic welder to a Miller MIG/TIG/Stick welder and a plasma cutter for the next round of fabrication on the new machine/heater. Also received 4 digital controllers for the heater.
This should keep me occupied for a while!
Playfield swap on The Shadow. My wrists hurt.

Finally covering up my scratchy painted concrete floor with industrial carpet tiles. Picked up a harbor freight lifter to make shuffling games around possible, fingers crossed I don’t mess this up!
I’ve got all projects. Put the new Rottendog MPU in Earthshaker , work on switch motor and other things in
Gigi , fix my botched NVRAM install on
Rock , figure out back box power issue on
Freedom , and track down parts for
Pinball EM
Also put a new tire, chain, sprockets, clutch lever, clutch switch, and air filter on my motorcycle.
Working on Space Station. And its beeing a bitch, I just discovered I by mistake bought wrong coils.
Gives me a chance to finish the hardtop install on my space shuttle. It's been on the rotisserie for 6 weeks, it is so close now to going back in the cab. Now at least my wife doesn't think I'm ignoring her when I'm tinkering in the shop, I'm simply practicing social distancing. There's still a lot to do, and it looks like now I'll have time to do it.
Quoted from dmacy:Working on two. Wrapping up details on STTNG and the reassembly of Joker Poker.[quoted image][quoted image]
The custom paint job on those cannons looks sweet. The ModFather
Quoted from danczaz:Just got this back together an working 100%[quoted image]
That is a nice floor finish.
I’m finishing up this Soccer. Have one flaky light socket under the credit unit and cleaning of the scoring reel numbers which I had forgotten to do.
After that I go back to my nemesis, a Little Chief that had a water damaged cabinet. I dub it the “Hydra”, solve one problem, two more show up. I shored up the cabinet, fixed it to where it was playing single player games, now it blows fuses. And the debug continues
Mostly working on video games, since they are dropping like flies. Currently oiling the trackball on Centipede and doing monitor adjustments. One of my co-workers got the Arcade1Up version, so we are competing for high scores while we're stuck at home.
Long ago we used to have "postal" track meets - one team in one town would do all the events and another school would do the same thing in their town and then mail the results to each other to see who won. You're doing the modern version of "postal" Centipede.
Finally replaced the four position fuse holder in F14 for gi circuits. Didnt look too flaky till I pulled it out and really could get a good look at it. Yuck. Thank you GRUMPY for showing me the light on this one!! Also cleaned the play field and adjusted the port side flipper bat. Game is now back and ready to go. Love Wizards Mist and Shine. Probably not the ideal thing to use on a syst 11but it does make the play field look nice!!
Stay safe all. This thing is for real and we have to get in front of it to the best of our ability!
I’m about to start working on a UPL Depthcharge.
Black and white arcade game from the 70s.
I have an empty original cabinet that is in really nice shape as well as a complete game that is totally water damaged.
Got to fix the monitor, but going to transfer all the intervals from the water logged game to the nice one.
Bringing both in from the garage tonight.
Neat game where your a destroyer dropping Depthcharges on subs.

It's like Sea Wolf backwards!

Kind of sort of.
Here’s a pic of what the cabinet looks like
Basic SEGA Gremlin Cabinet.
I’ll post some pics later.

The subs can fight back! I like it.
We have a Bally Sea Ray, a Christian Marche "pointy people" underwater pinball game. It would look good in the same game room as your Depthcharge.

I’m a sucker for any game that incorporates submarines.
I currently own:
Sea Wolf
Sea Wolf (modern)
Up Scope
Polaris
Depthcharge
ATARI SUBS
U-Boat (EM Game)
I would love a good submarine themed pinball machine.
I don’t really have any projects, but here are my tweaks I’d like to address while we are on house arrest:
Diamond lady spot targets behind the drops are shifting. Need to tighten them up
High hand isn’t always scoring the correct bonus (narrowed it down to cleaning the bonus stepper I think)
Replace the flipper guides on big game
Clean GOT prem (man this game needs cleaned so often!)
LED a couple of my EMs
Repin the LDB and SDB on my stars
Quoted from chuckwurt:LED a couple of my EMs

Oh man, that's rad.
The cabinet is amazing as well.

Very much like Sea Wolf.
I have lots of projects to finish. First up is my operator fresh Torpedo Alley I recently picked up. I have rubbers and new drop target decals coming for it in 2 days. Have to tear it down, clean and re-assemble and get it working 100%. Then I have to finish up my X-Men LE, top side is basically done, bottom needs to be cleaned. Then I have my MK3 control panel to fnish, new plexi coming for that soon. Then finish the power wiring and t-molding for my War Gods cabinet, finish wiring in my Jamma switcher for my KI2 cabinet so I can play both KIs. Finally, get my Galaga finished up, then totally re-assemble my American Laser games cabinet and if there's time...I have about 4-5 coin doors to restore too. So if this lasts for another 2 years I will have probably made a small dent in my projects.
Looking for an IJPTA, players condition or worse to restore during this lock down time. PM me if you have a good canidate your willing to part with; I can arrange shipping.
Ordered the glitter playfield and decals last week.
Well first up to complete is Cosmic Gunfight - should have it operational by the end of the weekend if all parts come in I need! Frontier is after this (connector rebuilds), then Mini Baseball (Chicago Coin EM game), Sinbad and Wizard. Now that I have pretty much all nights free, might as well get a few long standing projects completed!
Quoted from Coindork:UPL Depthcharge.
That’s one of my favorite games in my MAME machine.
I have several projects lined up which are
I think pretty much a complete restoration
Strip cab to bare wood , new Stencils or decals , new playfields etc Playboy, 8 ball , Dolly , Gold Strike , Fast draw , too many others .
My situation is complicated because my father / best friend works at our pin shop
Daily but he’s 85 yrs old . Keep in mind
He runs table saws Planers , his ambition
Is crazy . He’s beat Cancer ! He was in an accident which not one doctor gave him
Hope and lived ! But his lungs are jeopardized . So we talk everyday but
I’m figuring out a plan to split restoration
But no contact what so ever .
I have 4 kids , 2 in college 2 in high school , I will lockdown/ shutdown everything. Everything can wait . If I lost my father I gotta be honest I may never
Play or work on another game if I knew it was my fault.

Awesome.
Looking forward to seeing more pics.

What’s the scoop on the inserts? Clear so that they can be lit with colored LEDs?

That’s a great idea. A sub based pinball would be awesome. Dive, dive!!!
