Is there anyone that does a reproduction Gottlieb Countdown backglass? Mine is beat and I'd like to get a nice one.

nope!
almost every count down I have seen had some degree of paint loss on the backglass
6 years of looking for a near mint one finally found one in almost mint shape at the York show in 2012
it was the whole head without boards cost me 75 buck. I thought I hit the power ball I was that happy
sold the machine 6 months later
great game one of my top 3 system 1's

how do you get one from that site? I sent them emails with no response.

Try from a different email address.

Sometimes all Hotmail and AOL are blocked on servers.

Keep in mind they can't do the mirroring on it.

Thank you! I wish there was an actual reproduction, rather than a restoration, but I'll take it.

The one I owned had a really nice backglass, guess I was lucky. That was the first game I ever fixed up by myself, picked it up for essentially $175 as a project. Great cosmetics, just not working. Very cool sys 1!

I dont know why nobody has reproduced this. Almost 10k units made! Close Encounters and Sinbad are the only ones with higher production numbers.

Every single backglass that I have seen of this game have flaking, its a shame because its one of Gordon Morison's finest

Its not on the http://shayarcadegroup.com/ site as even coming soon

Count down was my first pin that started it all and I still have it. Paid $75. for it non working 20 years ago. has been working ever since. Found a better backglass locally for it about 8 years ago for $50. But would not mind a new glass someday.
