Hi! I'm hoping perhaps somebody can give me a little help figuring out an issue I'm having with my South Park table. During a multiball there was a failure in what I believe was the cartman super vuk coil. I had several balls stacked up and they wouldn't fire. I look on the board and the slot F21 fuse is blown.
If you put a fuse in you could hear the super vuk coil engage and the fuse would pop immediately. The issue is affecting all the coils running on the yellow/violet power line so obviously there is a connection.
I had ordered some coils to restore the machine so I changed out the super vuk, the autolaunch, the ball trough kicker coils. I also changed the transistor on the super vuk thinking it was the next logical step and the pins had some discoloration. I turn it on, start a game, it kicks a ball out and blows the fuse again. I don't hear the vuk coil engaging but I'm still having an issue somewhere. In the test menu any coil that shares the same power connection will not work because I can't keep a fuse intact long enough to test multiple coils. I'll test the toilet lid, it will work then the fuse will pop
Is there anybody that can point me in the right direction to the next logical step instead of throwing parts at it randomly? I planned to restore the machine, but I'm trying to learn how to troubleshoot. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. If I'm lacking some pertinent info I'm happy to provide whatever will help. Thanks!
