Quoted from rai:

I can't take credit for the remake, but I had no inside information. I know at least 3 people who wound buy LotR VE if it's a certain price point.

4, I sold my entire collection (well more of a set than a collection really) so that I am ready when/if it gets announced, and or Tron, SM, TSPP if the prices are not silly.

FYI - I live in NZ so I cannot just pop to the local shops and pick up any of these titles HUO let alone NIB...heck they even rarely ever pop up for sale here unless they are beaters at 6K plus. All the good ones are pounced on by the professional pinball hunters down here before casual hobbyists (like me) can get a sniff as well, oh well, in Stern we trust...

Quoted from Xerico:

Just curious, but let's say that a NIB Pro could be had for $4,600 USD in the US. How much would it cost you to get it shipped to NZ? Is it more than getting it from a NZ distributor?
Marcus

Best example I have is that IMVE cost us around $8600 Kiwi from local disty (roughly $6,500 USD), by all accounts I heard that we could save a grand or so by buying from US, once you add shipping/GST/Import Duty etc, but I haven't looked at it too hard so maybe a Kiwi that has done it might want to chime in.

Oh and I think another $200 USD for a 60 to 50 Hertz board (or something), so with warranty I'm not sure the numbers are as good as they are for second hand machines. Again I would have to defer to people who have done it or seriously looked into it.

To late.. the prices are already silly and only going to get worse with our dollar dropping
