Poor question.
Some say Comsic GF is 3 ball game, but in VP i did not get just 2 ball multiball. Can someone tell now is 3 or 2 ball game? If 3 what needs to do to got it?
Zuhi is referring to the table on Virtual Pinball, so I suspect it has slightly diff rules. He just wanted to confirm what the RL version does.

The real life game is 2 ball multiball...

OK Thanks for the reply, just IPDB and Pinside also indicate as 3 ball! So i did not play it wrong. Yes i had to play in Virtual pin, because i cant buy the one near by me yet. My friend say, the owner need a little time to thinking on it sale or keep.. Futere will tell. Until Vp works well, rules just as the handbook says. Just i want to be sure from others too. So if someone can note for an update please fix the game listing.

Where does IPDB say 3 ball?
Can someone please post a close up of this area (perhaps with/without) the plastic.
1. How can this plastic piece sit there and NOT get screw burn underneath it?
2. Which way should the one-way gate be attached? (long piece in or out)
3. How can the plastic sit and not appear to be "sticking up" in the back?

Quoted from mof:1. How can this plastic piece sit there and NOT get screw burn underneath it?
I've lately been cutting 1/4" x 1/4" squares of low-tack mylar and placing them either on the underside of the plastics or directly on the heads of the screws to prevent or mitigate damage from screw heads. Also helps where the plastics sit atop metal walls and the like.
i chased this game sight-unseen for three years (along with a Fire!) and finally got the owner to make time to sell me the pair (they had to be dug out of the back of a crowded workshop.) fortunately he kept the place heated and the backglass is exceedingly nice. plastics are quite good as well with only a few small spots of screw burn. unfortunately the playfield is hammered with several large wear spots and plenty of smaller ones throughout. the original PCBs boot but don't play correctly so i stuck in a Rotten Dog until i have the time to repair those.
lots of work ahead of me and i'm not sure what i'll do about the playfield; i might just cover it up with a protector for now and save what's left. but i'm still rather in shock that i finally brought this machine home. i wasn't the only collector who knew it was out there, just the only one [occasionally] persistent enough to close the deal.
oh, and just in case anyone is wondering i paid $500 for this machine... my offer was lower than i was prepared to make but the PF condition and poor functioning of the MPU/driver stack changed my mind a bit since neither were as described. Fire! however was a bit nicer than i thought it would be so i offered a little more on that title which balanced things out, i suppose.
apologies for the crappy cell pic. and yes, my workshop is an open area of the kitchen. my wife is extremely tolerant and understanding.
I always wondered why these wear in that spot in the center. alien poker seems to do that near that area too. WTF? such an unusual spot for wear to occur.
several of the bigger spots are in front of the slings; i suspect it's where the ball hits hard enough on rebound to eventually start removing paint. the big spot is on the way to the A-B-C stand-ups which are an easy shot off the right flipper.
i need to find a source for replacement drop target decals or at least a good image so i can make some myself.
Quoted from mc300baud:i need to find a source for replacement drop target decals
pps have them
awesome, thanks! i figured i'd find them eventually but hadn't gone looking yet.
can you send me the link to the CCR pre-order for repro playfields? thanks!

Mine's in storage. No way to look now, sorry.

The IPDB pic is similar too =( sheesh. I wonder if there's a way to improve it.

Does anyone here happen to have a full playfield scan for CG? Looking to see if I can do a restore, mine is pretty bad.

cosmic-help (resized).jpgGoing off the existing connector. I made a new connector. I still have half my GI lights out. Anyone have a picture of the GI connector on bottom right side of power supply not sure if the original one was correct. Someone put a new connector on it once already before me. Thanks!

Looks like line voltage in. Measure the AC out from the transformer. On one side of the transformer you should see 120vac in and the other side should be 6vac out. The question is, what happened to the original transformer for them to use this one? You should check the original for the GI terminals and see if you still read 6vac across them.
I heard a rumor that there are hacked ROMs floating around which fix the code/scoring surrounding the imbalanced gameplay?
Any truth to this?
If so, I would love a PM with a link to burn one.

I am just thinking... WTF is Mof doing on a "morning run" and 1am CA time?
Also, I would hope that Soren is the man making this happen? Hoping the rumor is real!

First question
What are the minimal amount of rules to alter to balance the weight of taking the right long shot?
