I've had my Corvette machine for almost 2 years. One of the reasons the person that I bought it from was selling it was because there was paint over-spray on both sides of the backbox and the bottom cabinet. I finally decided to try and remove the paint. I used lots of paper towels, rubber gloves and lacquer thinner. I have a few more touch ups to do. I just ran out of the lacquer thinner. I did find a small damaged area on the bottom of the left top side.

I Thought I would show some pictures of the before, during. and after. The pictures are of the left side only. The right side looked similar.

Top cabinet:

Wow nice results. I'm surprised the laquer thinner didn't attack and remove any of the graphics though, it's pretty strong stuff.

I was worried about that too. I tried a small section first just to see if it worked. I'm thinking the graphics might be a decal? It took about 2 hours to do both sides. It also brighten up the graphics because there was some fine overspray there too. I need to get some more lacquer thinner to clean it up a bit more as seen in the last picture.
