@ yuriijos : experimenting at the moment, if I find a good solution i'll post it. The lockbar can be adjusted with the (brass) screws on the lockbar receiver.

#302 1 year ago

@ yuriijos: after testing several stronger coils and positions, I ended up with the original coil but moved the bracket a few mm to the right (away from the switch). Mine was close to the switch , just touching it. Now the balls come out smootly.

#303 1 year ago
Quoted from yuriijos:

Still having issues with the LT5 kick out but only seems to get stuck when all three balls are locked and starting multiball. I tried angling the bracket a bit more so it’s kicks the ball more to the side instead of up and hitting the muffler plastic assembly, didn’t really help. Once the first ball gets free the others have no problem tho. If there is only one or two balls in the lock lane the kick out works but three balls and it jams up?

This was happening to mine too when I got it. From memory, there is a post that the muffler mounts to close to the lock kickout. I was having a ball pop out and hitting the bottom of the muffler and going back into the lock area. I needed to lift the muffler, but there isn't anything to bend, so I didn't think it was bent down either. The nearest mounting point to the kickout had a washer on top of the fastener. I put that washer under the bracket of the muffler and it lifted it up just enough that now there is no longer any contact when the ball is popped out of the kickout.

#304 1 year ago

Nice I’ll investigate both options above and see what happens. Your right tho, there is no play in that muffler assembly so I’ll try the washer to raise it a little and see if that helps. In order to move the bracket for that coil assembly isnt it best to just largen up the holes on the assembly so it has more play instead of screwing in new holes under the playfield? Thanks guys.

#305 1 year ago

I was very doubtful that just a washer width more height would do anything, but it literally fixed the issue for me. 75+% bouncing back in to 0%. I’m hoping it’s that simple for you.

#306 1 year ago

Why would it kick out balls just fine when there is only 1 or 2 balls in the lock but when there is 3 it gets stuck tho? It’s like the weight of the 3rd ball hinders the kickout so must mean the position or the bracket needs to be adjusted and not really the height of the muffler assembly. I’ll play with it more when I get time and report back.

#307 1 year ago
Quoted from yuriijos:

^^^^Anybody? Also wondering if there is a way to tighten or snug the lock bar assembly down when in the locked position as mine seems a little loose to the left and right. Thanks.

Make sure it is lined up properly and clean the popper plunger. Add a new sleeve also.

hey guys, new to the corvette club, owned my machine for a few years now and i love it. ive added a few corvette matchbox cars over the years but most recently ive always felt the top of the engine is incomplete. i found a picture of the actual engine online and made a piece to sort of match it. let me know what ya think.

I like it! Have an extra you want to sell? Just curious how you mounted the cars since the wheels spin and adding double sided tape to only the wheels wouldn’t be very secure.

#310 1 year ago

im planning on making a bunch of them to sell. hopefully i can do them this week sometime, ill let you know when they are ready.as for the cars i drilled and tapped screws into the bottoms of them and screwed through the acrylic plastic they sit on and the whole piece is screwed to the ramp. i wired up some headlights and tail lights too

Still looking for a used set of ramps, particularly the left ramp!

#312 1 year ago

Hi everybody. I'm having some issues with my corvette pinball machine, particularly the LT5 engine. When I first fire it up the engine coils pull it and hold it to one side and the self test fails. If I do the self test from the settings it will pull to the left and eventually pull over to the right and the self test fails. I'm getting no number readings from either left or right sensor even when I manually move it. It had been working fine before, nothing was done to the machine. I've recently moved so it's been transported and hasn't been used for a few weeks but when I turned it on the other day I noticed this. I'm curious if something was bumped during transporting maybe? Any ideas what I should be looking for? Please let me know, I need to get it rumbling again. By far my favorite part of the game LOL. Thanks

Is the right "Skid ramp" and the plastic engine block available anywhere ? Google couldn't help me.

Thanks

I recently acquired a Corvette unfortunately the pf is toast and there are a few hacks making it too expensive to bring back. In any case, I'm going to use the cab and some parts for another project and will be selling off the rest. A few parts may already be spoken for and I'm trying to put together pricing. PM me if there's something you're after.

Hi guys,
I have an issue with the lock sequence, when the ball goes to the engine, this one is shaked during the video sequence, then stops and then the ball get stocked inside...I have to wait for a ball research to open the gate to free the ball...it is the same for each ball locked. Gate does not seem to open to release the ball on time...however, optos, gate and engine are working properly, so I don't know what to check...if you have any ideas... thanks.

Hi Corvette owners. I’m thinking of joint the club. Can I get an idea of what is unobtainable? The left ramp on my example has been repaired but not well. Are there other parts I need to look out for?

Just found it. It was an LED kit that used the Corvette panel for reference, not selling the actual panel. Sorry about that.

Hello ‘Vette owners. I’m rebuilding my corvette playfield after a shop out and I’ve lost my way a little bit, wondering if I can seek some help please. I can’t identify the post type that goes into the two holes behind the pit stop... as seen in this photo.... I know they will retain a rubber ring and that the rearmost one will protrude through the plastic to retain the habit rail support overhead.... but I can’t identify the actual part to use. Could someone please respond with a photo? Thank you.

Worked it out, no need to respond thanks.. 2 x metal posts.

Can anyone help with the pavement of the spring onto the gate at the exit to the LT5 ramp? How is it supposed to attach?
Here is a pic of mine as it stands

Do you happen to know the part number for that spring?

#334 4 months ago

No. I imagine it is listed in the manual.

Even now, you can shorten it up a bit. Just stretch it at least 1/4" on the end and hook it on. Then you should be able to manually pull back on the coil plunger arm to see if it pulls the gate open, If not, shorten the spring up some more.

For reference that spring part number is 10-194 and is the correct spring for the rear gate.
Now I’m further along in the restoration and unsure where these clear plastics and metal plate go. Anyone know?

My ramp sign was missing the mount so I made a metal one a few years ago. Today I decided to make a legit one that looks like the highway overpass stuff. Need to clean up the 3D printed support stuff but it came out pretty well I think.
