I've heard that nail polish is a good sealant after cleaning up corrosion on a board. However, I'm still not sure what parts of the board it's OK to use it on. I'm assuming that scrubbed-clean traces are OK for nail polishing, but what about the solder holes and the leads coming out of them? What about the pins of ICs? Are those OK to coat in nail polish (or a light dusting of Krylon spray)?
