+1 on build your own. Awesome game.... The best for tailgates as well and it's an easy project... Took about an hour to build a set plus the time to paint/clear them. If you do any woodworking at all, you likely have all the tools required except probably a 6" hole saw which you can get for 10 bucks.

I bought a 1/2" full sheet of sanded birch plywood from HD for about 40 bucks and had them just cut it into 4 equal 2'x4' pieces while I was there, which will build you 2 sets. Add about 15 bucks in 2x4s and 10 bucks in hardware per set. I also opted to use some paint I already had and then clear them with spar urethane to finish mine so they are waterproof and uv resistant. Amount of slide is near perfect with the spar urethane in satin. All-in cost for me to build 2 sets, with very nice bags, came out to about 80 bucks per set. One to keep and a really nice gift for someone.

    Quoted from Black_Knight:

Guess no one caught the Cornhole championship on ESPN this weekend?
We could only take about 10 minutes of it, but there are clearly skills involved with those guys.
It's kinda like saying "Pinball is random, there aren't any skills involved."

It's been the only sporting event that seems to be on ESPN in the last month.

The fact that anyone can play with little knowledge is part of the beauty. If you are having a BBQ with beers, do you want a game that you have to spend hours explaining to friends before they will get involved? That said, once you know what you are doing, you can do some pretty impressive things with the bags.
Same reason it's nice to have approachable pinball machines, right?

    Quoted from TKDalumni:

I'm a big fan of Baggo too! Have a set of Cornhole too and will play either honestly.

Portability aside, I don't get the appeal of baggo.... It's basically just a cheaper, smaller, poorer-playing version of cornhole with plastic boards instead of wood. Everything bounces, including the boards, if you play on a hard surface. Got a set for a gift once.... Played it twice and it has sat in the back of the garage ever since.
