Sounds like these might be perfect for Alien since the plastics apparently have some breakage issues. Hopefully something that can be done once a few more of them are out in the wild. I bet either green or blue would look awesome.

Hellow I am a big fan and have convolux on all my pinballs, in your shop you refer to a “WZ-Downer“ I may need that as lior mod for Potc is thick and therefore doesn’t add up well with a convolux layer. Mind helping?
Cengiz from Retrocengo shows you on his Indiana Jones (Williams) pinball game how to install our product Convolux and how great the optical effect is.
Here you can see the video:
Hello everyone,
it's been four years since the initial post now it's about time we show you how far we have come with our Convolux.
It's been seven years since we launched our flourescent plastic protectors commonly known as Convolux.
Since the beginning Convolux are available in 5 different colours (red, orange, yellow, green and blue) of which blue always was the one with the weakest effect.
We are proud to say that this is not the case anymore as we have launched our own brand of LEDs known as PinGameLED.
In regards to lighting up blue Convolux we worked hard on optimizing UV-LEDs to be as bright as possible without being spotty about which we can proudly say that we've achieved that.
Now you do not only get an intense glow from your blue Convolux you can also bring up the UV reactive accents of some Williams WPC playfields like T2 and AFM.
Since we first introduced Convolux our range of sets has grown to over 250 different sets available in the 5 colours mentioned above and is constantly growing.
We offer worldwide shipping for all of our products so even if you are outside of Germany you can equip your games with parts exclusively made and sold by us.

Do you have an exact map or directions for exactly these plastics go for Godzilla Premium? I have two pieces here that I just can't find for the life of me!! Appreciate the help!
I'm looking at ordering the convolux blue for my Oktoberfest! pinball. I understand that In order to give the blue Convolux this intense, radiant glow effect, the PinGameLED UV lighting is reccomended.
Which ones specifically are recommended as far as quantity and location.
Any photos or videos of either red of blue on Oktoberfest?
thanks!
pinball-freddy
nope
How are y’all installing these without the silicone (or rubber) post caps flying off and falling into the mechanics of the game??? The post screws simply are NOT long enough to accommodate the neon plastics AND the factory plastics. A previous post of Freddy’s said to do away with the washer and “they should fit”.
1). There’s no washers on my posts, and there’s still not enough threading to grip acorn nuts or silicone caps w/neon installed.
2). Freddy’s suggests “they should fit”. That is correct, they should — except they don’t.
Now what?
I've used Covolux plastics on several of my older games they offered sets for and I encountered the same issue.
I ended up buying/installing new stud posts that had taller threads to accommodate the increased thickness in plastics. In some situations I needed to fabricate a stud post by cutting to length then threading a long machine screw up through a T-nut from the underside of the playfield.
I always cap things off with a nickel plated acorn nut.
This process may be ok when the game is already apart and one is putting it back together -- it might be more frustrating if you have a brand new game and do not want to take it apart.
Attaching a picture of my Frontier, Seawitch, and Fathom. I had a custom set of fluorescent plastics made for Frontier because the offering from Convolux was incomplete. I made my own set for Seawitch. The Fathom set is from Convolux. I had the same thickness issues to deal with on all of them.

TractorDoc Are taller threaded posts available for something like this? So far, I'm not yet sure what I'll do in this situation, but I don't really have the resources (nor the expertise) to fabricate new posts. My Fathom is near-mint, and I'm not really keen on messing with this CPR playfield with new T-nuts.
I snagged a set of plastics from Haggis, as theirs have the centers cut out, so as not to wash out the colors of the silkscreened plastics, and they also laser cut them so the clear parts on the plastics stay clear, and aren't covered with the green. Freddy's doesn't have that attention to detail that the Haggis ones have.
