Hello my good people of pinside, I usually can find the answer without posting but found nothing. I have a re-import Whirlwind and am trying to convert from 220v. Got the plug switched, but wondering about internal wiring? Anyone with some experience, also will post pics of a few hacks and am open to ideas to improve.

Any ideas or place I could find the info for changing power supply over?

#6 4 years ago

First (or second before you power on), you should replace that clamped/soldered tape wrapped fuse with a proper fuse holder and fuse.

Yeah, thanks for the help, got things going. Couldn’t find that section in pinwiki, and yes need a fuse holder, switch out fuses all over, change balls, rubbers, change out lights, change fan blade, wax and play, new plastics or ramps down the road after everything else is working.
