    Quoted from o-din:

Back in the days of EM pins
    BBQ grills had charcoal within
My daddy taught me to grill food right
I think I might fire up the Q tonight

There was a west-coaster named Odin
For whom solid state was verboten
    Don't speak of propane
    He thinks it's profane
It's charcoal briquettes he'll be loadin'

I love how EM guys never use that pedestrian "thumbs down". We just spam the thread with talk about grilling.

    Quoted from SteveFury:

My sister back in the70's used to buy those pink TAB sodas. Those were truly gawd aweful!

Ha, that reminded me of my favorite Sarah Silverman episode, where these guys were trying to outdo each other in their love for Tab.

When I was about 12, my little brother (about 4) came into my room one morning, took most of my model airplanes and "flew" them out his 2nd-story window. He only survived on his cuteness that day.

When they first came out they were called "Klackers" and they were made of glass, right? Or is that something I made up?

    Quoted from SteveFury:

For sound on a modern more complicated EM project, I can envision expanding the simple bell and chime into a more nickelodeon configuration. Percussion drums and numatic horns for variety. Oh, what a machine it would be. Imagine a shaker emitting steam/smoke while the ball is caught in a hole.

Steve, is that you in your profile pic, or a relative? I like the pic. I am looking more like it every day.

I used to love these "P" boxes:

Ha, I remember building the "Burglar Alarm" so I'd know when people went into my bedroom.
