Here's one (no large numbers or an article).

    Quoted from EM-PINMAN:

Sure would be nice to see an article that some guy is converting SS to EM's in large numbers for a change.

    Just the photo.

    Quoted from Darcy:

Steve, was there suppose to be a link added? Or just the 1 photo?

Yep, what's beginning to show in this thread is that nobody wants to convert their EM's to SS (LOL, big surprise there) or try to convert an SS to EM.

    Quoted from pinwiztom:

I like how this topic thread has run the gambit from BBQ, to toys, to beer, to comics
and occasionally comes back to the Original Topic.
Oh, and o yeah, Soda Pop.

I still have one of them, the one I have is some sort of hard plastic.

    Quoted from swampfire:

When they first came out they were called "Klackers" and they were made of glass, right? Or is that something I made up?

LOL, I keep popping back to this thread to see if there are any interesting EM's being built. Guess I'm the only one.

What about going the other way and making an EM from a SS game? That's the route I was thinking of.

    Quoted from NicoVolta:

Nope. Not the only one. I was thinking about converting one of mine to SS, but kinda leaning against it now.
Instead of conversion, the idea of cloning a classic from scratch like Slick Chick using SS/modern logic is more interesting and doesn't require destroying one.

The pic I posted earlier is a conversion from SS to EM.

    Quoted from SteveFury:

I believe this is actually backward. The intellectual challenge would be converting an SS to EM. A person would need to figure out the relay logic circuits themselves instead of buying prefabricated boards which are just waiting preconfigured code. EM to SS sounds like the easier way, doesn't it?
I have some electronic bench type programs and logic gate simulators. I tried to simulate one of my EM games on those programs by arranging inputs/outputs of various gates (and, or, nand, J-K etc) and the pointless project became so large that I abandoned it.
