I am curious, at some point I am going to be doing a full restore and clear coat on my Doctor Who. It uses the old style playfield pivot that the System 11 games used. I am wondering how hard it would be to convert it to the sliding style with a support rail or two like the later WPC era games had. It looks like I would have to be careful around a couple of GI lights on the bottom of the playfield, but there seems to be room to make the change. There is also room to attach at least one support rail.
It would be kind of a nice mod.
