Just about complete - except I just realized that Galaxy was a 6 digit game and QS is a 7. I'm "transplanting" a Quicksilver into a Galaxy Gab. I just had the QS playfield so I turned my beat galaxy into a QS, well almost. Have to do a few other things (like change the backbox door because displays are in different spots).

I put 7 Digit displays in from my Cheetah thinking I'd be good to go, but no such luck, then it hit me that Galaxy is a 6 digit game.

What's the best way or what do I need to do to get 7 Digit Scoring? Just one wire somewhere in each connector? I have an alltek in there now

You're missing that one wire, yes. Though if you put in six digits they should work.

Add 7-digit displays for player 1 - 4, add version nummber, recalculate checksum
Installation notes:
1) replace the four player 6-digit displays with 7-digit displays (we test it with orignal bally displays..)
2) Add an additional wire fom A4 (mpu) J1 Pin 7 to every player display pin 12 (for bally displays, don't connect the credit display !).
If you use 7-digit stern displays connect J1 pin 7 to every player display pin 11.
3) burn the files on 2716 eproms

After power on you will see the version number in the player two display

Excellent. In this case, the software I'm running is for Quicksilver, not for Galaxy - and I'm using the Alltek board, so really all I should have to do then is connect wires from J1 pin 7 to display pin 11.

It works fine currently with 6 Digit displays, that's what I'm using now

Hi @smileymatthew, (slightly off-topic) Did you get any assistance with your Lamp Board connector J4 as per your other thread?
