Just a yearly bump for those who might have missed this gem.

A few buddies of mine have recently added this to their setup and they're loving it!

Thanks for bumping this thread fattrain! I bought a set right away yesterday. Amazon had some sort of 50% off deal for that item that was ending 10 mins later. I ended up picking mine up for $20!

Just to be clear...you plugged one of these directly into a wall outlet and then plugged a surge into that? So when you push a button it effectively turns the surge on and all the pins connected to it? I'm assuming this is safe to do? I have several of these bad boys laying around that I'd like to use: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000J2EN4S

Anyone know how many pins you can safely plug in to one of these?

I just ordered and will give them a try. Had tried this before with another maker, and they would occasionally turn themselves 'on'. I thought light and/or shade had something to do with it. They were used at a place I only visit a couple times a month, so stuff was turned 'on' for weeks! Kinda scared me off for a bit.
