Quoted from CrazyLevi:

I kinda missed the home ec portion of this thread.
Irons?
Like...the kind of iron you use to smooth out wrinkles on clothes? How is this being done?

Quoted from thechakapakuni:

You should never have to Iron a Playfield just like you shouldn’t Iron a Four Leaf Clover. You’re pressing your luck

Quoted from jimwe5t:

JJP has a highly questionable future.

And if they ever disappear imagine how much my GNR will be worth then! Not that I'd sell, just sayin'...

#8895 2 years ago

Maybe if they changed their approach and just charged extra for assembly through the network of distributors, and sold their pins in a box unassembled with bags of parts and illustrations for assembly, we could all accept responsibility for putting it together properly ourselves and save thousands. It's not like we void a warranty...

#8897 2 years ago

Yup, so let the 25% benefit.
10,5k assembled, and then an unassembled option... That's all I'm saying. Disty can make more and assemble themselves if they want.

Quoted from Bublehead:

I can't wait to see the assembly instructions. If they are anywhere close to the average Pinball manual, whooo boy howdy, I can't wait to see what we actually put together. We would have steps that range like this-
Step 37:
"Install post 13 in hole 27 using parts BB, AC, and washer FF. Tighten to 27 inch-pounds of torque. Ensure hole protector QQ is held down firmly while tightening to prevent playfield chaffing. Repeat 88 times using fuzzy picture 4B and table IX, making sure to not over tighten holes 2, 7, 16, 23, 27, and 79. If any post refuses to seat to playfield, reinstall with washers GG and YY and torque to 27 foot-pounds."
Step 38:
Install trough.
So yeah, this would be a great idea...

Rotfl!! Maybe we need to outsource the instructions and assembly design and then have the buyer supply their own playfield. Prepacked parts as well. JJP becomes just a consolidated shipper. Lol

Quoted from Roostking:

Friends first run LE GNR has some minor chipping around the bumper posts. Is JJP still offering the washer kit for these( i think they were previously)?

Quoted from Utesichiban:

They were the brand new balls that came with the game. Is it definitely a ball issue? Is a bad balk going to do that in 10-15 plays?

thechakapakuni requests that you inspect your balls, and has provided an informative instructional video several posts above should you need visual illustration of the process.
