is there any evidence for the issue being resolved when the Playfield is fully cured?
I’m talking about after the game has been put together not before.
Basically, if a game sat but had been over torqued when put together would it eventually cure and prevent chipping? Or is the chipping inevitable no matter what? Like, it was fractured during the assembly process...

Quoted from Langless28:

Is deadpool not within the timeframes of these issues from Stern?

All of em would be. Maiden examples popped up before Deadpool even hit the lines.

They should be doing hardness testing before assembly. That’s the best solution I can think of to prevent this in the future.
Once these pinball manufacturers set a spec, it’ll fall back on the tier 2 companies.

Quoted from gdonovan:

Played Jurassic Park recently, before I even hit the start button my first thought was WTH is going on with the playfield finish? Had to take a picture of it.
For the record the game was pretty fun, shots were great and I scored well on it, the playfield appearance would be cause for my concern. The playfield "cutout" plastics reek of cost cutting, but that is a minor nitpick compared to the playfield surface.

Is that a pro?
