I wouldn’t say that they solved the clear issue with Elvira. Many of the LE owners had planking/ribbing that was very noticeable due to thin clear coat.

I agree - it’s not one issue, it’s several. First - the digital print isn’t adhering as well as the old school screen print. Second - whatever clear they are using is WAY softer than Diamondplate was. Third - get rid of the art around the posts. And last - tight holes are always better than loose ones!

Stern still does the tight hole thing like BLY/WMS did - here’s a pic of my DP with a nut/washer removed:

That is literally exactly the same issue they had on the Deadpool katana guide. A small washer on the guide post solves the problem if you do it before the wear starts. Ironically, I used one of the GnR metal washers to fix my Katana guide.

Nope - that’s a brand new DP premium and I had to install the washer. They did modify the guide so it doesn’t sit directly on the playfield all the way to the end of the guide like it used to - but there’s still enough touching the playfield to do damage without the washer.
