    Quoted from MMGB:

I agree with the shock regarding Funhouse. I’ll add that I’m shocked Hobbit is being beat by Whirlwind. Luv them both, but had to vote Hobbit in that matchup.

Hobbit being beat by whirlwind is laughing stock.
But I'm glad cause that's why I own one! Got a $9500.00 machine (LE counting upgrades) for $6700.00

Restores my faith in Pinside. Whirlwind is pure pinball goodness.

    Ya, it's a good one.
But Hobbit is magical, deep and about the most beautiful pin ever made. Certainly the best theme integration ever. You have to own one to appreciate it. Severely under rated! I would never sell my Hobbit for a Whirlwind. But I would own both! In fact, I'm on the hunt for a Whirlwind now.

    Battle of the multipliers.

Ya, even the local pinheads I met don't understand that part about SW. But that is an awesome feature.

    unfortunately, it's still a Hobitt......

Ya, people that don't know how to set up a pinball machine have problems with it being floaty and playing shitty.

    Quoted from TheLaw:

People LOVE that game. Wouldn't beat HS for me but the people speak.
Probably some people played ACNC at shows before it was done like I did, worst game I've ever played.

Ya, same thing happened to me at PATZ Apr, 2018. Reason was, low voltage. Flippers couldn't make the ramps and slings were a joke. The staff on hand had no idea because they didn't know the game. Also code way, way too early. Hell, the last code update in Feb 2020, finally fixed the damn memory leak! Now this game is were it should have been when they revealed it. Too bad. I own one. Awesome game!
Also, how many ACNC are there in the wild? Most people never seen one.

    Quoted from TheLaw:

    Haha that's the one.
Only one I've ever seen personally

Well, you got a shit sandwich then!

    #43 4 years ago

Maybe I'll bring my ACNC to VFW in Sep. Then, you can see a real one (nicely modded too)!

    Quoted from Daditude:

    ACNC vs Getaway
    and
Hobbit vs whirlwind are the shockers for me.
I can only assume either nostalgia has kicked in or a lot of people just haven't played the former two.
ACNC is easily one of the very best games that has come out over the past 10 years.

Don't waste you time! This bracket would have made sense if it was classic pins against classic pins of the same era.

    Quoted from FYMF:

Let's be honest. I'd be shocked if half the votes on that have ever played ACNC.

Same with the Hobbit, but even more so with ACNC. But I wouldn't trade my ACNC for two HSII's.

    It's all good!
Like I said above, I would have never owned a JJ Hobbit LE if I hadn't got it for the price I did. I can afford to spend 9.5 grand on a Pinball machine, but I have a limit on what a pinball machine is worth to me. And that's too much! So thank you haters!

    #65 4 years ago
    Quoted from Reaper802:

Right there with you. May Hobbit LE is bolted to the floor. It had 200 games played when I got it and I got it for well under what people are paying for 30 year old games with 25,000+ games on them. Some folks just like to chop wood and flap the flappers. Then there are us who enjoy depth, balanced scoring, solid rules, no linear play, etc...

And awesome theme integration, video, audio, light show, toys and art work! I also like the wide body layout!
*** You haters out there need to run down JJP POTC so I can pick up one of those for cheap next!
