Quoted from Wickerman2:I bet the women's team sends out "Happy Holidays" cards too...commies.
Also: None of this has anything to do with the women using their 1st amendment right to critique the fucking idiot at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave....nooooooooo, has nothing to do with it at all. The "critics" are just too spineless to come out and say they are following dear leaders orders. Sad state of affairs when we can't just say, Great Job Team USA and leave it. What's next "Lock Them Up!" chants for crying out loud?
Being "Patriotic" is honoring and upholding the Constitution, not blindly following a person or how you hold a flag etc.
Huh? Are you reasoning that people aren’t excited about the win because of the disrespect shown by a few players? Or sarcasm..
It is a sad state of affairs that the women’s team put themselves in this situation by commenting on things that had nothing to do with soccer. They lived in a country that raised and molded them- because it takes a village- into champions. To thank those people, a few of them decide to speak out against the president that country elected, then state they are ashamed to represent this country because our police force don’t know what they are doing, and then proceed to disrespect an invitation to the most honored building in the USA. They didn’t play or act perfectly but our police and president must be? I don’t understand what we have to celebrate. They won for themselves, I felt nothing..
For all those people complaining about soccer, did you watch the champions league semifinals second legs this year? Two of the best games in all of sports, ever. If you don’t get it, you don’t get it..
And the “real” football is Aussie rules football.
