Quoted from Whysnow:So in other words, I need to be a much better player to even evaluate BSD... That tells me all I need to know. Sticking with Congo as a much better game. If all BSD shines at is being hard to accomplish, I already have a FT which is hard enough for me. I don't need a 2nd game that I want to toss everytime I play it
Point taken
The first time I had BSD (6 month temp trade with a friend) I LOVED it, but it pissed me off like no other pin I've had so I wasn't sad to see it go. So I definitely get where you are coming from there. I think though that there are some games that shine in the home environment where you can tweak them to your liking and play them enough to see what it has to offer. Move the outlanes in. Install regular size flippers. Rebuild the flippers. Put on super bands. Whatever makes it more enjoyable to you.
I hope I didn't come off like I was saying "play better". What I meant was that BSD does several things REALLY well, and a guy should get a chance to experience those things prior to deciding where it ranks among the rest. I just find it hard to believe that someone could hit a castle jackpot and walk away unimpressed.
