I recently picked up a nice Congo. I need help picking a color to powdercoat. One is subtle, one is more bold. Let me know what you guys think.
Pictures weren’t helpful to show because of the color. I couldn’t find a way to post video on pinside, so here’s a YouTube link:

My vote is gloss black, it looks amazing. My brother powder coated his congo in gloss black, best color for that game in my opinion.

Thanks. I actually had the wrong video link. Take a look again if you can now.

Not sure about all the sparkly stuff. I prefer the stainless but gloss black would be my vote as well. Game looks killer, ita47.

Thanks for you comments. Both colors look almost black at a certain angle, hard to show on video. But both very different when looking straight on. The sparkle is just because the game (and movie) is about collecting diamonds.

Pepto Bismol Pink. Just stunning.

If you have to, Black is the only answer

Yes I have to. To me it adds a personal or custom look to the game. Kind of like picking out your carpet or paint color on a home.
I’m great with the all original look too, but I like my games to look custom. I probably spend more time cleaning them up, making my own toppers, etc.... then actually playing the games. It helps me relax I guess, takes my mind off work.
I love seeing what others have done to powdercoat their games too, even if I hate it . I love to see that their trying to make it theirs.

Solid color. Sparkles are for bass boats.
