Congo
Williams, 1995Hey all,
I'm looking at picking up a Congo, and looking at one with a lower-playfield gorilla that doesn't work. The owner says the squared-off shaft that moves him is broken.
Are repros available yet? Or is there any good work-around for this?

I think it can be repaired somehow. I believe this happened to my friend's Congo and he solved it by welding it back together. I could be completely wrong though.
Mine had almost all parts in the mechanism with big wear.
So i took the parts to a blacksmith. One part he soldered and another he remade a repro.
Was really cheap and the gorilla started to work perfectly.
(these parts are sold out everywhere)
