The flipper button actuator (Black Plastic) should be changed out. Not sure how much that is causing an issue but I’d take a video of it moving in and out of the opto.

Very odd for sure. The new flipper opto "interuptor" that is new still looks weird to me. Both upper and lower interupts should be same length. In the picture you have to me it looks weird. Also, have you tried swapping the flipper boards in the cabinet?
