Congo has such a dark Playfield. This looks nice.

I've had my Congo for over 5 years now. Its one of the nicest i've ever seen. I love it dearly, but it doesn't get played much anymore. I think what keeps Congo from being one of the best pins of the 90's is the lack of modes and a story or ending so to speak to shoot for. Now its all about just trying to beat the diamonds collected or the high score which on my game is over 5 billion. I keep telling myself its time to move on from it, yet i just can't. I'm curious if anyone else has felt this way? Just when I think i'm ready to let it go, I play it and just can't bring my self to part with it.
Quoted from TommyNYC:Hey Guys love the Congo.
Not sure if this is something that shouldn't be asked but what would you pin ( pun intended ) the value on this machine these days?
Found one for sale but i feel asking is too high at $4800.
Any thoughts?

Depends on condition. If its in super nice shape thats a good price. Mine is gorgeous and it would take more than that to pry it away.
Is there an easy way to open up the lower playfield? I need to refresh things and clean down there and it looks like a major ordeal getting it open? Just getting the playfield clear plastic off looks like you’d have to undo a million things to get to. I looked in the manual and just can’t find anything on how to access it?
Anybody know where I can get the lower playfield side decals? I did a search here and found out Planetary developed them like 5 years ago and nothing on their site. Looked a few places who might have them and can’t find anything. Mine aren’t terrible but they are bubbling and lifting in a few areas.
Quoted from Bonk:Here they are on their site-

Are you kidding me? I looked under game specific parts and Congo and they are not there. I wonder how many times I have missed out on a part because My search skills are terrible. thank you!
Ok I have no flashers and noticed that I have two plugs around the left ramp area not being used. Is this normal? Something they took out of the production game maybe? There are no other plugs to plug them to. Any ideas what is going on or why my flashers might not be working?

Do any of you have the same issue? This is the only game I’ve not been able to do it on, most of the time it just rolls off the top of the flipper.
Quoted from mollyspub:Check your flipper angle and sell me your WW!
There are no alignment holes on Congo so the alignment could be anywhere. Mine are aligned straight with the ball guides.
Quoted from ripit:I checked mine and i don't see it ever happening as far as the cradle. Even if you moved it to do so i don't think you could ever hit the volcano slot. Love Congo and play it daily. Congo and coffee
Yeah love my Congo also. It’s one of the best shooters out there in my mind. I never really stopped to think that I couldn’t cradle. A few people did tell me about putting a different coils stop on it.
