Quoted from Wamprat:Picked mine up yesterday, been chasing one for quite awhile now.
Loving the game, it's a pretty easy game but it is a lot of fun.I do have a issue with the volcano.
On my game almost every time a ball is ejected from the volcano it overshoots the ramps and hits the pf.
Not sure what might be causing it, maybe the coil is too strong?congo 007.JPG 165 KB
The volcano on my game was doing the same thing. I added a small piece of weather stripping (1.5 cm x 1.5 cm) at the top of the volcano to slow it down. So far all of the shots from the volcano have landed on the volcano ramp. That's about twenty times in a row
Quoted from beelzeboob:What I like about this setup is that you can eat your dinner and play pinball at the same time.
It's all about convenience.
Does anybody have a mystery / left eject hole plastic that they would be willing to sell? Or know where to buy one?
Quoted from Syco54645:Just finished shopping my Congo and having an issue. It seems that when the balls eject from the volcano for multiball they are over shooting the ramp. This was not happening any of the games before I shopped it. Could it be that I got the alignment of the volcano chute off and that is causing the issues? I do not think it is bent at all. It looks to be in really good shape.
Mine was doing the same thing. I added a square piece of door insulation to the top of the chute, and it has not over shot the ramp once since then. Not technical, but it works.

Does anybody happen to have an old coin door for a Congo or a machine that uses the same door?
I'm looking for the metal piece (I believe it may be yellow) that depresses the two white switches that controls the INTERLOCK.
Maybe you'd be willing to sell that piece to me? Thanks!
I had to watch the movie to realize that Ernie Hudson is the narrator. Couldn't figure out who the older British guy was.
Quoted from Syco54645:you should be able to use one off of any old door. Nothing special about the door on Congo afaik.
The hunt is on.
My map eject just stopped working in the middle of a game. It's solenoid #22, but I don't see what fuse this hooks up to. Any familiar with this & can lend a clue. Thanks
Quoted from Blackbeard:Does the coil fire in test mode? Go into solenoid test and see if it'll fire there.
It does not fire in test mode.
